The VCU Department of Family Medicine is pleased to provide an exciting new resource - a Research Guide for Preceptors accessible through the VCU libraries website

http://guides.library.vcu.edu/family-med-preceptors/

Detailed information about the Research Guide is provided below by Emily Johnson, the VCU Librarian responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Research Guide.  Emily is available to assist preceptors in accessing VCU library resources.  If you have any questions about the Research Guide, VCU library resources, or if you have difficulty opening the link, please contact Emily at ejohnson24@vcu.edu or 804-628-2291.

If you need assistance obtaining your "VCU eID", please contact Sharon Flores at skflores@vcu.edu or 804-628-4380.  A VCU eID is needed in order to create a password that will allow you to make the most of your library privileges.

We hope that you will find this resource helpful in your professional development.

Dear Preceptor,

As a preceptor affiliated with the VCU Department of Family Medicine, you are allowed privileges to the VCU Libraries Resources.  The library has created a Research Guide organizing many of these resources in one accessible source.  The link to this page is: http://guides.library.vcu.edu/family-med-preceptors/

To navigate this page, there are yellow tabs at the top of the guide (underneath the research guide title).  Each of these tabs links to a page of important resources for your professional practice and preceptorship.
