Dan hails from Baltimore, MD. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 and subsequently completed his internal medicine internship, residency, and chief residency at VCU Medical Center. Next, he joined faculty at Vanderbilt University as a Hospitalist for 3 years, before returning to VCU to complete a 2 year clinical fellowship in Infectious Diseases. He is currently completing a fellowship in Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control. His research interests include hospital acquired infections and antimicrobial stewardship. He has one child and his wife, Roshi, is expecting their second in November 2016.
