Personal Statement:
As a future family physician I hope to help people help themselves. I am a firm believer that though as physicians we are of great assistance to our patients, we only see them a few times a year for at most a few hours a year. It is vital that we increase their investment and understanding of what they can do in their particular circumstances to be good stewards of their own health to maximize their own as well as their families' health across their lives.
