Personal Statement:
The thing I most appreciate about fmSTAT is the connection it provides to other medical students and physicians in the family medicine field. FM's broad scope drew me to the specialty, but navigating its possibilities can be daunting! Appropriate guidance is more important for success in this specialty than most. By linking us with other students in all four years of med school as well as doctors who have already traveled this path, fmSTAT has helped me clarify my professional interests, figure out how to navigate medical education, and set a strong foundation for success in my early career.
