What are your core values or reasons why you care about serving medically underserved communities?
I worked in a rural Emergency Department and saw the barriers to healthcare that residents in town had to face. We became a source of primary care for those unable to get regular doctor’s appointments, and it motivated me to dedicate a portion of my career to rural health.
