Following initial ACGME accreditation in November 2022, our new VCU Health-CMH Family Medicine Residency is now entering its first Match cycle and will welcome three interns to start July 1, 2024.  Located near the North Carolina border, the rural track program is a partnership between our Department and VCU Health’s Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, Virginia.  Residents will spend their first year in the Richmond area, doing clinical work at Hayes E. Willis Health Center, and their second and third years in South Hill. As Lori Landes, MD-PhD ’13, notes, “As the founding program director, I am committed to an innovative program with strong resident and community voices. Our curriculum responds to the health challenges facing our nation, and creates leaders in healthcare that will transform systems to realize meaningful progress.”  To learn more about the program, please visit https://familymedicine.vcu.edu/education-programs/residency-programs/cmhfamilymedicine/
